A prophetic symbol for the generation of the last days

Benjamin was the last of the sons of Jacob, the last of the tribes, and for this reason many spiritual leaders tend to refer, in a prophetic way, that he is a symbol to the last generation of the Church that will participate in the last revival before the coming of the Lord. So, See with me how Benjamin refers to the last generation.
the story of his birth
The book says: “And they journeyed from Bethel; and there was but a little way to come to Ephrata: And it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have this son also. And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.” Rachel died and was buried on the road to Ephrata, which is Bethlehem" (Genesis 35:16)

Hard labor
Benjamin's birth was difficult and surrounded by sad circumstances, to the extent that his mother, Rachel, lost her life and died. These events were trying to draw for him the personality that he should live in. The name that his mother suggested before she died was "Ibn Onni" or the son of my grief, meaning the one who came with pain and came through my death, he will live with grief and sorrow for the rest of his life! You can clearly see the stressful and difficult conditions that surround the birth of this generation, as Benjamin, even the Lord, is preparing them with a special message for this end time. Many of this generation have undergone abortions and have been miraculously saved. Drugs surround them from the early stages in schools. The percentage of broken families or parents who are drug addicts or alcoholics is very high and doesn't count, the abused children number in thousands, the prevalence of pornography surrounding them is increasing, the vulnerability to identity defamation and gender distortion is unprecedented. The terrible thing is the combination of false Media, dirty arts, and collapsing school system. They are working together to destroy this generation! All these circumstances want to label this generation with a spirit of sadness and pain so that it may live in depression and vanity and become without hope or purpose. Although the statistics say that the suicide rate has increased in recent years, what is remarkable is that the percentage of the desire to die and the attempts to commit suicide have increased in a way that has never happened before!
The voice of the Lord
Although his mother wanted to paint him in this sad color, the voice of the Lord through Jacob was very different, so his father called him “Benjamin,” meaning the son of blessing, and this is a completely different name from the other sad name. Often the Lord has another opinion, and the vision of heaven is completely different from the vision of the earth, and the Lord now says that the circumstances of this generation will not judge him and will not steal from him his true identity that he has given from the Lord. The word of the Lord is that this generation will be a “son of blessing” and will have the blessings of Benjamin!
Blessings of Benjamin
You will discover from the words of the Bible the amazing blessings that were said about him, which are completely different from what the enemy wanted to be.
1. A ravenous wolf
When Jacob prophesied to all his children in his last prayer for them, he said these distinct words about Benjamin: “Benjamin is a ravenous wolf. In the morning he devours the prey, and in the evening, he divides the spoil” (49:27).
The tribe of Benjamin was famous for being fierce warriors and very skilled in using bows and arrows with both hands, right and left! By studying some of the Bible personalities who came out of the tribe of Benjamin, along with our understanding of some of the natural characteristics of the wolf, we can conclude the following about the meanings of Benjamin being a “devouring wolf”:
Wolves represent strong emotion and refer prophetically to outstanding people, spiritual warriors, loyal, intelligent, and zealots for a good cause. And if the Lord gave you a dream and you are of the generation of Benjamin, have the courage to continue to display these wonderful past qualities to serve the Lord “fiercely”. You notice that Esther “the queen who saved her people”- and Ehud “And the children of Israel cried out to the Lord, so the Lord raised up for them a savior, Ehud the son of Gera the Benjaminite, a left-handed man” (Judges 3:15) - and Deborah are also “leaders mentioned in the Bible, strong and wolf-like”, all of them originating from the bloodline of Benjamin!
As for the expression “and at evening he divides the spoils” means that their wealth will come from the spoils of their enemies, and this reminds you of the story of Paul the Apostle, who was confirming that he was an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin (Romans 11: 1), and we can see the ferocity of Paul when he was still a persecutor of the Church in his early days and then His conversion and his winning the many spoils of souls that came to salvation later because of his testimony to Christ! As for the word “divided,” it expresses the dimension of communion and appreciation of the collective life amid the body of Christ, and this is very clear in all the previous personalities.
It is written about the tribe of Benjamin, “Among all this people there were seven hundred chosen men lefthanded; everyone could sling stones at an hair breadth, and not miss.” (Judges 20:16).

2. Beloved of God
And when Moses blessed the tribes, he said the following about Benjamin: “And to Benjamin he said: “The beloved of the Lord dwells with him safely. He covers him all day long, and rests between his shoulders.” (Deuteronomy 33:12)
That Benjamin was born in Bethlehem gives us a spiritual impression that it is a prophetic picture of him as like Jesus, the only beloved Son who is in the bosom of the Father! The announcement says that he will dwell securely with the Lord and will be under His protection all day long. As for the expression “and between his shoulders he will dwell,” this is the same place that Aaron used to carry on his breastplate of judgment “on his heart.” “So, Aaron would carry the names of the children of Israel on his chest, on his heart when he entered the sanctuary, for a memorial before the Lord always.” And this is an amazing expression that indicates that Benjamin is loved and he is in the place of his chest always on the heart of the Lord!
3. A distinct Inheritance
Although Benjamin was a small tribe - the smallest of the tribes - and although the Temple belonged to all the tribes, yet geographically the land on which the Temple was built was divided between the tribe of Judah and the tribe of Benjamin, in a kind of partnership. And because the Temple was God’s dwelling among His people, this indicates that the comfort of the Lord to dwell in the land of Benjamin with Judah! The history of the people of Israel also indicates the continuous strong relationship between the tribe of Benjamin and the tribe of Judah, distinguished by the fact that Jesus Christ, the Lion of Judah, came from it.
Benjamin weak points
You will discover through the Bible how the tribe of Benjamin, many times, squandered its potential and turned it into very bad things when it allowed itself to move according to the flesh and according to his weaknesses. This is the challenge for the generation of Benjamin in this end time! The most important of these are:
1. Foolishness
It tells a story from the Book of Judges that a group of wicked people from the tribe of Benjamin committed an abomination in Israel and that they gathered to sexually exploit the woman of a Levite traveling from one city to another, it is written, “So they recognized her and made use of her all night until the morning.. . .and she returned and fell at the door of the man's house (dead).
So, all the congregations of Israel sent to the tribe of Benjamin so that they would surrender the congregation that had committed foolishness, but they did not want it and prepared for war! The tribe of Benjamin was alone in front of all the rest of the tribes for what! For a corrupt cause! In this war, Benjamin's losses were heavy! "And the children of Israel destroyed from Benjamin on that day twenty-five thousand men and a hundred men. All of these were skilled in the use of the sword."
The foolishness connected to sexual lust and wars for corrupt causes remains the great challenge to wasting the power of this generation of today. We pray that the Lord will protect this generation from this foolishness and from entanglement in the sexual sins of this age and that He will have divine wisdom and holiness not to waste its blessings.
2. Rebellion
The first king of the people of Israel was Saul of the tribe of Benjamin, and when he was chosen, the Lord poured out the anointing on him, and released him to amazing victories because he was the Lord's anointed. Suddenly he began to rebel against the Lord and not submit to Samuel the prophet and the commandment of the Lord, and the voice of the Lord was to him: “You have foolishly! You have not kept the commandment of the Lord your God that I commanded you, because now the Lord had established your kingdom over Israel forever. The Lord chose for himself a man according to his heart, and the Lord commanded him to rule over his people, because you did not keep what the Lord commanded you.” Saul, who was from the tribe of Benjamin, lost the anointing and the kingdom because of his rebellion!
But when the Lord met Saul of Tarsus, who was from the tribe of Benjamin too, the Lord performed miracles with him and through him because he began with the Lord saying: "Lord, what do you want me to do?"
We pray for the protection of this generation from the general spirit of rebellion in this time, the rebellion against the home, the church, and the natural principles of life, and to see the miracle of this generation’s submission to the love and will of the Lord, and that they become like the Apostle Paul, when he says, “Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ” (Philemon 1:1) so that they may be The generation that makes double portion of what the apostle Paul did, by the grace of God.
Conclusion
We trust that despite the challenges facing this generation, the Lord will raise intercessors and spiritual leaders who will play the same role that Jacob made. That the name of this generation will not be “the son of sorrow,” but it will be the “son of blessing,” who will take their inheritance completely and glorify the Lord to the end.
